New Seam Rippers

I will be posting some pictures tomorrow or Monday of a selection of the seam rippers for all you that are in to sewing😁.

Watch out they are seriously pretty and at £22 for the double ones with a large and small seam ripper blades or a seam ripper blade and a stilleto, in your choice of colour they are fantastic.

Keep your eyes peeled 🔎

Busy times

Things are picking up here at ManCave-Magic, big order in for Seam Rippers and Pens from Stitch Perfect, thanks Anne-Marie.

I will post some pictures when I’m in front, also got some bespoke Oak picture frames going through and a fish toilet roll holder, yes that’s not a mistake, a lady with a new fish wall art sculpture wanted a toilet roll holder to match. Where else would you go for something that doesn’t exist except ManCave-Magic😁.

Add to those four special goblets and it’s great, thanks to all those who are purchasing from me, I hope you are all delighted with my products, any problems just contact me and I’ll sort it. Please post a review of you’re happy.

Don’t forget there’s still time to order a tankard or two for Father’s day, have it made especially for the best of dads.

Update on progress

Man Cave 2 is now fully rendered, painted internally, the framework of the benches is built with two cupboards with sliding shelves for the planer and router table to live on. 1-1/2″ section of work tops are made and fitted, just need final plywood topping and they’re done.

Electrician due this morning to finish coupling everything up. Then going to fit the door and paint the floor.

We are a week behind due to the wet weather stopping the plasterer, but should be finished and everything back in by 13th March to officially start the business off.

Man Cave 2 update

MC2 is nearing finished by the plasterer, he just has 2 external walls to finish coat today and tidy up, then it’s down to myself and super apprentice to finish off😁. Hoping to have it all done, painted inside, electric in and benches built and shelving in this week.

We can then move all my equipment back in and be ready for launch on the 6th March, can’t wait to get going, hope the orders keep rolling in.

ManCave 2 update

Sorry there hasn’t been any blogs for the last fortnight but it has been manic!

Man Cave 1 had a very short life once the builders arrived on the 25th January

It was completely gone including the rising damp concrete floor by mid afternoon on day 2.

Day 3 saw the footings dug and the cement mixed and in place.

Days 4&5 were the weekend and the builders “don’t do them”!

But of course I do so that was my chance to run a new electric cable in.

Monday to Friday of the second week saw the new insulated and damp proofed floor poured and the walls up to full height.

Today saw the two builders back, the wall plates on and bracketed all the rafters fastened on and the top filling rows of block/bricks on.

Builders due tomorrow to finish off and plasterer booked for Thursday to waterproof render MC 2 inside and out. Weather permitting, needless to say it IS supposed to freeze, which is the worst outlook possible. Fingers crossed though they may be wrong

It will then be down to me to fit the tiles, fit the door and frame, fit the electric, paint MC2 inside and out including the floor, oh yes and fit the work bench shelving and heat.

So everything still on line for Man Cave Magic to hit the ground running from the 6th March

Faith, Hope & Love pen.

This meaningful and spiritual pen, at a

“Faith” “Hope” and “Love” are intricately cast into the centre band and the pen top features attractive cross designs.

The Cross on the tips and clips are reference to the Fleur-de-lis. In the Middle Ages the symbols of lily and Fleur-de-lis overlapped considerably in Christian religious art.

The three petals of the heraldic design reflect a widespread association with the Holy Trinity.

Here we are using the three to symbolize the virtues of Faith, Hope and Love.

The braided rope detail reinforces the concept of trinity, with a braided rope being made from three separate stands into something much stronger.

Smooth writing performance with a standard Parker style refill. Plus, the rustic, authentic look of this antique brass pairs beautifully with the Bethlehem Olive wood blank as shown.

But of course as with all my products you can choose any type of wood or acrylic pen blank to go with the Faith, hope and Love pen to match your personality.
